Hi, I am Sim, Physiotherapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach at Wyatt Physiotherapy.
I have always loved being active. Growing up, I competed in triathlons, cross country, athletics, rugby and boxing. Over time, my priorities shifted from competition to being as healthy and functional as possible. Becoming a Physiotherapist has enabled me to help others in the same way. I started my Physiotherapy career in 2013, working within the NHS, followed by the Ministry of Defence. My initial Physiotherapy role for the Military was at the Regional Rehabilitation Unit (RRU) in Portsmouth. At the RRU I delivered Specialist Rehabilitation Courses for Back Pain, Lower Limb injuries, and the Hip and Groin. After the RRU, I worked with the Royal Marines and Special Forces (Special Boat Service) at RM Poole. In 2017 I moved to New Zealand. In Auckland, I worked in a specialist Physiotherapy and Strength and Conditioning facility. I rehabilitated international level athletes competing in Power lifting, Jiu-Jitsu and golf. To develop my practice, I became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. This globally recognised certification enables the formulation of high performance, evidenced-based training regimes. On return to the UK, I established Wyatt Physiotherapy. The goal was simple, make Specialist Exercise Rehabilitation accessible to everyone. This unique service provides exceptional levels of assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to those who entrust us with their wellbeing.
